The Reprobate Never Win

I know for many of you it seems like evil, narcissistic reprobates are winning, and watching them in all of their worldly success sometimes makes you feel like maybe you’re doing something wrong, maybe you deserved the wrong they’ve done to you, and maybe others deserve the wrong they’ve received as well. This is the lie the devil wants you to believe because doubt ushers in a constant spiritual assault on your faith which can become a vicious cycle of self-sabotage and persistent disappointment. Please let the words in this blog encourage you to hold fast to your faith in God and know that evil, narcissistic liars never win. If you measure winning by material things, then you’ll never see the truth of what I’m sharing, but if you use your spiritual lens to consider the facts, you’ll see how they’re losing every single day.

Whenever someone chooses to take advantage of others by exploiting their trust and love for them, using everyone for their own benefit, constantly lying to cover up past lies, never being held accountable by their enablers, always trying to keep track of who they told which lie to, and using intimidation to silence victims (the list of shameful acts is endless), they’re only driving themselves straight to hell where all reprobates go, and for them, they’re okay with the risk of going to hell as long as they can keep up appearances and escape accountability on this earth (Romans 1:28). The demise for these folks will come upon them quickly and usually when they least expect it. They often experience a slow deterioration on the inside because they work so hard to make sure the truth doesn’t show up on the outside. Although they’ve tricked the people around them to believe their lies, they must live with the truth of who they are every day. They know they’re abusive liars, and most importantly, God knows.

What the reprobate doesn’t understand is the only win that matters is the win on the cross. Victory in Christ Jesus is the goal of God’s people, everything else is futile. The reprobate aim for things that are futile, things that are temporary, and things that have no eternal value. So, when you feel discouraged because it seems they’re winning, please know they’re losing at an accelerated rate because they’ve not only deceived their enablers, but they’ve also deceived themselves. Their lifestyle is unsustainable because it’s all temporary. Therefore, you might suffer for a short time on this earth but your faith will prepare a way for you to live in pure love forever with Christ.

The Way of the Cross (Mark 8:34-38)

34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 35 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. 36 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? 37 Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? 38 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”
